Our Mission
Our mission is to positively enrich the lives of children and adults in our local communities through the camp
experience in a safe, wholesome, environment by exposing them to new experiences, ideas and environmental education;
creating stewardship while having fun and creating memories in the great outdoors.
The decision was made on November 2, 2017 to divest Camp Louise by council.
Friends of Camp Louise is committed to the fight to keep this camp in our community.
In order to do this, we need your help!
***IT IS GO TIME! We have the opportunity to purchase Camp Louise, but we CANNOT DO IT WITHOUT YOU!**
Under our ownership, Camp Louise would be for community use, not just scouts, although we would still offer scout programs geared toward badges. We will focus on outdoor education, recreation, camp and stewardship.
